  • Put your business front and center by sponsoring a Chamber event, annual program, or digital media.

New network building events in 2022 include the Battle of the Business Bowling Tournament and the Local Lunch for restaurants.  BE PRO BE PROUD and Connecting Educators in Industry are focused on building the workforce pipeline for our community.  Also new this year are two annual program sponsorships, the Governmental Affairs Committee, and the Chamber Ambassadors, both focused on advocacy for a strong, business friendly climate in our community, county, and state.

Or promote your business utilizing the Chamber website, which received more than 145,000 visits in 2021. And don't forget the long running favorites; the Annual Meeting & Business Expo, the Golf Classic, Business After Hours, and the Arkansas Scholars Award Ceremony.

  • Apply for the OG&E Positive Energy Scholarship

As part of OG&E’s commitment to furthering education efforts across our service area, we invest in local students through our Positive Energy Scholarships. From now until Feb. 15, 2025, Oklahoma and Arkansas high school seniors are encouraged to apply for the 2025 OGE Positive Energy Scholarship. With its administrative partner the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, OGE Energy Corp. Foundation awards this scholarship to three deserving students and provides them with $15,000 per year, renewable annually for up to four years, or a total of $60,000 to cover tuition, books, fees and on-campus room and board.
Our region has boasted a Positive Energy Scholar multiple years including seniors from Northside High School, Southside High School and Van Buren High School. Our 2024 recipient was Northside High School senior, Nadia Phan, who received a $60,000 scholarship to attend OSU to pursue an undergraduate degree in a STEM field.

Applicants are selected based on their academic achievements, volunteerism, community service, extracurricular activities and strength of character. Recipients are often first-generation college students, and the scholarship relieves a significant financial burden for families for whom college might otherwise be unattainable. I encourage you to share this information and attached flyer with teachers, counselors, and students as the deadline is soon approaching.
Established in 2018, the OGE Positive Energy Scholarship encourages worthy students to pursue a degree in higher education. Eligible students must meet specific criteria to be considered, including:

    • Be a graduating high school senior from the OG&E service area
    • Attend college in Oklahoma or Arkansas
    • Have an unweighted GPA greater than or equal to 3.25
    • Achieve an ACT score of greater than or equal to 25 and/or SAT score greater than or equal to 1200.
    • Students must pursue and maintain one of the following STEM majors: accounting, biology, chemistry, computer science, cybersecurity, data analytics, earth science, engineering, finance, geosciences, environmental science, information technology, mathematics

OG&E's dedication to education investment is evident in our continuous support to deserving students, teachers and schools. In addition to scholarships, we also fund teacher projects, offer energy efficiency grants, provide classrooms with energy education materials and partner with educational institutions to cultivate a pipeline of strong industry professionals. Since launching the program, the OGE Energy Corp. Foundation has awarded 18 Positive Energy Scholarships – totaling more than $1 million – to high school seniors.
