Let Chili's in Van Buren whip up your dinner while you sprinkle a little love on CASA of Crawford County! Just flash that flyer on November 12, 2024, and watch them donate 15% of your bill to this fantastic cause. Delicious food for a good deed?
CASA advocates serve as vital voices for their children in the courtroom. By providing detailed court reports, volunteers assist family court judges in making informed decisions, leading to improved outcomes for children. CASA volunteers are often the only individuals solely dedicated to advocating for their child.
Research indicates that children with a CASA advocate report higher levels of hope, which correlates with their ability to thrive.
On average, a CASA volunteer contributes between 5 and 10 hours per month. From July 1, 2023, to June 30, 2024, CASA of Crawford County advocated for 82 children across a total of 41 cases.
Among these children, 20 were reunified with their families, 13 were adopted, and 3 aged out of the foster care system.
