CASA's Dutch Oven Lid Lifting Competition
CASA of Crawford County will host a Dutch Oven Lid Lifting Competition fundraising event at THE SHED in downtown Alma. Cooks will start preparing their dishes on-site from 8:00 am, using a Dutch Oven, the official cooking pot of Arkansas. At noon, the Dutch Oven lids will be lifted, and the tasting session will commence. Attendees can buy tasting tickets to sample various dishes and vote for their favorites in categories like Best Main Dish, Best Side Dish, Best Dessert, and Best Dressed Cook.
To register as a cook, please visit our website at www.casaofcrawfordcounty.org/about-5. Additionally, you can purchase discounted tasting tickets before the event on our website. Attendees are strongly advised to arrive before noon as food will be available until it runs out.
